Sodalite - Orange Inclusions Short Tower

Sodalite is a somewhat rare, blue mineral formed from sodium rich magma. 

Though traces of its history can be found in South America, most of its known history comes only from the last few hundred years.

Such a vibrant blue with streaks of lightning is uncommon in the mineral world, and is simply gorgeous.

This particular piece comes from Namibia, and has been cut and polished to stand upright.
